No registration is required.

Please arrive within 5 minutes of the start time. Storytime runs approximately 30 minutes long.

Dinner & a Movie

This week we're having dinner with our movie! Tickets may be purchased at the Circulation Desk beginning March 10. Doors open at 6:00 pm for those eating dinner; general admission opens at 6:30 pm. Movie starts at 7:00 pm.

Looking for help with your homework?  Free assistance is available on a weekly walk-in basis.  A retired teacher volunteer will provide homework help for students in grades 1-6.  This service is offered on Tuesdays from 4:30-6pm.  Parents, stop by Meeting Room C and check your child in for 20 minutes or more of homework assistance!

Heartfulness Meditation

This 8 week Heartfulness Meditation Program offers a simple set of relaxation and meditation exercises, which when practiced daily, help restore balance in life, manage stress, better your health, and most of all will lead to inner calm and peace. 

These relaxation and meditation techniques are taught over an 8 week course. Each class focuses on both the conceptual framework​as well as practical​meditation and relaxation methods.  As classes progress, other techniques are added to help you go deeper into yourself. 

All participants are encouraged to attend all 8 sessions.  A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to persons who attend all 8 sessions. 

Participants will be meditating in chairs. Those wishing to meditate while sitting on the floor may bring their own floor cushions. ​

This Heartfulness Meditation program is conducted entirely by certified Heartfulness volunteer trainers who have experience meditating and training for several years.

Peeps Photo Contest Begins!

Our fourth annual Peeps Photo Contest begins today!  Pick up an entry form and some Peeps at the Reference Desk.  Then, photograph your Peeps in the wild.  Pose them in a diorama,  let them loose in nature, dress them up in tiny peep-sized clothes - the choice is up to you!  Submit your photographs by April 30 for a chance to win a fabulous Peeps Prize Pack.
